The Story behind the Band

Matt Vinyl and the Emulsion was a 80's psychobilly band born in the bedroom of Dave Green the Doublebass player in around 1986. This was the second carnation following a short stint with another drummer Skid ,Guitarist and vocalist Adrian Gibson remained and the new drummer was Nick Gunn. This trio created Matt Vinyl and the Emulsions. The band went on to write and then perform all over Kent and parts of London with a colourful song list that included songs like, James Deans nose,Watermelon and My mum buys her pineapples at Sainsury's.
